Two months from now this house won't know what hit it. It's this year's DC Design House—the combined design showcase/fundraiser for Children's Hospital run by the two local real estate agents Skip and Debbie Singleton—that is about to be overrun with about two dozen designers who will have had their way with the many rooms, covered terraces, butler's pantry, media room, library, bedrooms, and more. There's even someone assigned to the second floor landing. It had been rumored to enter the market $15M, but the final price is a shade under at $14.9M. By far one of the most amenity-laden DC Design Houses, this 15,000 square foot house is an 8 bedroom, 12 bath with two kitchens, a multi-car garage, and a pool. On February 25th onlookers can take part in the bare bones tour to see what it looks like before the designers descend upon it armed with swatches and cans of paint. That will most likely be the only chance to see inside it until it is complete on April 14th. Check out which local designer has been assigned to each room after the jump.
